Leading Negotiations: An Inside-Out Approach, Tuesday October 23rd
Wharton Women's Lunch & Learn
Offices of Morgan Lewis, 101 Park Avenue, New York |NY
Whether you struggle with navigating difficult conversations, setting strong personal boundaries, or demanding what you deserve - personal courage is a non-negotiable skill in your professional development toolkit! Join us for an interactive workshop anchored in building trust and having impact throughout the negotiations we face in daily life. During the session, we will explore the blocks that stand in the way of productive negotiations as well as learn practical tips and techniques to create both the life and career that you want.
Topics to be explored include:
· Reframing “difficulties” in negotiations (shifting mental habits, dissecting fears, creating new thought patterns for resiliency)
· The inner preparation of negotiations (presence, clarity of message, defining success)
· The outer application of negotiations (deep listening & acknowledging, suspending agenda, building empathy in real-time)
· “Speed-dating” activity to learn from various approaches / styles on negotiations; expanding one’s personal stylistic range for greater impact
