Wharton Women in PE & VC Initiative

MISSION:

The Wharton Women in PE & VC Initiative connects a uniquely powerful group of Wharton and UPenn alumnae investing private equity and venture capital by creating a confidential peer environment to encourage open discussion, guidance, networking and best practice sharing.

We believe that by helping senior PE & VC alumnae achieve greater success as investors today, we can pave the way for future alumnae to be better prepared and represented at all levels of PE & VC investing.

Critical Elements of the Network:
•    Empower other women.
•    Include women and men in the Wharton/UPenn investor community.
•    Ensure confidentiality and create trust/intimacy.
•    Facilitate the exchange of ideas across generations.
