Wharton PE & VC Alternative Investments Day
welcome from Dean Geoffrey Garrett
the new Alternative Investments Initiative
Alumni managing PE, VC, LP or other alternative investments are invited to join Wharton PE & VC on campus to exchange ideas with the leadership and researchers of the new Wharton Alternative Investments Initiative and hear from Dean Garrett ahead of our fireside chat.
WPEVC Alternative Investments Day will:
- bring together alumni practitioners with renowned faculty to further strengthen Wharton's position as the leader in financial economics,
- provide a platform for alumni to gain insight into the latest research/findings, and
- encourage alumni to act as a sounding board for researchers in the exploration of new areas of inquiry or new case ideas.
From the Alternative Investments Day Team
We are excited to bring you this opportunity. We believe alumni engagement is critical to the success of this initiative, which is designed to expand the School’s research, build critical synergies between industry and academia, and enable publications and conferences that will bring together the most renowned researchers, business experts, and industry professionals working in alternative investments.
Wharton PE & VC envisions this as an important first step in an expanded and on-going relationship between the alumni and the initiative. We hope to see you there and look forward to hearing your ideas!
