Speaker Bios: Anatomy of an Acquisition Agreement

 
 
David Bard - David is currently a Vice President with American Securities, a private equity firm with over $15 billion in assets under management. Prior to joining the firm in 2015, David was a Vice President at Bain Capital in New York, where he worked for nearly nine years; he began his career as a consultant at McKinsey & Company in New York. Currently, David sits on the boards of North American Partners in Anesthesia (NAPA), Frontier Spinning Mills and GT Technologies, is a member of Year Up New York's Leadership Council, and serves as a Senior Fellow at The Wharton School where he designed and teaches a course on private equity.

David currently holds an MBA from The Wharton School, where he was the Ford Fellow, and an MPhil in Economics with Development from the University of Cambridge, where he was a Gates Scholar. He also completed the Jerome Fisher Program in Management & Technology at the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated summa cum laude from The Wharton School and Penn Engineering.


Andrew Milano -
With experience in US domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, and dispositions, Andrew Milano advises enterprises on joint ventures, commercial contracts, and general corporate and compliance matters. Andrew regularly advises clients in acquisition and divestment deals involving a range of assets, from container terminals, power generation facilities, and regulated water and wastewater plants to enterprises in the international energy services sector.

Andrew received a BA from Cornell University and received his JD from Fordham University School of Law, cum laude. 


Eric Tajcher.
Eric Tajcher counsels businesses on US and cross-border mergers and acquisitions (M&A). His clients include both financial and strategic acquirers, as well as companies that are acquisition targets or for sale. He also advises organizations on joint ventures, strategic alliances, private placements, and general corporate and compliance matters. Eric advises companies in a host of industries, including energy, natural resources, payment processing solutions, media, education, manufacturing, and retail and franchise. Eric also serves on the pro bono advisory council of the New York
for the Public Interest.
