The Wharton Private Equity & Venture Capital Alumni Association ("WPEVCAA") Middle East Chapter is excited to partner with the Boston Consulting Group ("BCG") and host our community for a highly curated event this September.
 

Join our WPEVCAA Middle East Co-Chairs, Martin Ngombwa, Director at PIF and Raj Chinai, Partner at Iron Pillar for an AI-focused discussion presented by Robert Xu, Managing Director & Partner at BCG X. He'll speak to AI's impact for institutional investors and allocators followed by a networking reception with the alumni community and industry peers. 

Open to Wharton/University of Pennsylvania alumni who are senior level investors in private equity, venture capital, and other private alternatives or institutionally sized allocators. 

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Robert Xu leads BCG X, Boston Consulting Group's tech build and design unit, in the Middle East. He specializes in machine learning, AI, and GenAI, and has worked with clients in industries including consumer, retail, telecom, and investment funds. Robert has considerable experience in AI strategy, design, and delivery across the full AI stack: semiconductor, GPU/CPU/ASIC/FPGA, data center, AI platform, and AI app layer. Since joining BCG in 2012, he has led 30 cases worth $100 million each across the US, Europe, Africa, and Asia Pacific. Robert is fluent in Mandarin and English.
