FRANK BRUNO

Frank Bruno is Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer of Cerberus and is responsible for leading the Firm’s global investment activities across credit, private equity, and real estate strategies.
From 2018 until 2025, Frank served as Co-Chief Executive Officer alongside Cerberus Co-Founder Steve Feinberg. Previously, Frank was President of Cerberus Global Investments, where he was responsible for leading the Firm’s European, Asia, and Latin American businesses. Since joining Cerberus in 1998, Frank has overseen the investment of more than $32 billion in equity capital in Asia and Europe, alone. Under his leadership, Cerberus expanded its international presence significantly, opening global advisory offices across Asia, including Beijing, Hong Kong, and Tokyo; and across Europe, including Baarn, Belfast, Dublin, Frankfurt, London, and Madrid.
Frank graduated from Cornell University and received an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He currently serves on the Wharton School’s Graduate Advisory Board and is an active supporter of Hire Heroes, a U.S. military veteran transition resources organization, and Save the Children.

Sumant Mandal is a Co-Founder & Managing Partner of March Capital. At March, Sumant invests in companies that utilize various automation technologies such as generative AI, ML, RPA, and cloud & data infrastructure as well as companies that support the fast-growing digitization of India. Since the firm’s inception in 2014, Sumant has mentored entrepreneurs, raised capital, communicated with investors, and has built the organization and culture of March.
With over two decades of venture capital experience, Sumant has generated multiple meaningful exits in companies that he either incubated or had been the first institutional investor. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of market-leading technology companies BillDesk, Uniphore, Nile, Avathon, & Xage, and he is a Board Observer at Together AI.
Sumant is also co-founder of two technology incubators in the San Francisco Bay Area: The Hive, focused on AI and Blockchain driven companies, and The Fabric, focused on cloud, Internet of Things (IoT), and network infrastructure companies. Previously, Sumant was a Managing Director at Clearstone Venture Partners and began his career as an entrepreneur, starting companies in both India and the United States.
Born and raised in India, Sumant attended the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University (MBA) and Michigan State University (B.S., Electrical Engineering). He is on the Board of the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF), an independent organization that aims to bridge the gap between business & government, fostering closer public-private sector partnerships across all facets of the economy & society in the United States and India. Sumant is also a Charter Member of TiE.
