Job Description

Office Practicum is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Finance team in Fort Washington, PA, reporting directly to the CFO. You would be responsible for managing the financial rhythms of the business, including the annual operating plan, monthly financial reporting and monthly forecasting processes.  This is a hands-on and highly visible position providing financial analytical support for key business decisions. The role operates in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, and the ideal candidate should have the ability to influence the decisions of senior business leaders through effective verbal and written communication, logical reasoning, and the presentation of alternatives.

 

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Build and maintain multi-year forecast models
  • Help streamline planning and reporting
  • Create dashboards for reporting operational metrics
  • Analyze variances, synthesize key business drivers 
  • Be a thought leader to improve and simplify processes, drive standardization, and build scalable systems to support business growth
  • Support special projects
     

Basic Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Accounting or Finance required
  • 5 plus years in finance roles with increasing levels of responsibilities
     

      Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a subscription-based revenue or Software as a Service (SaaS) company
  • Experience in analyzing and integrating acquisitions
  • Exceptional analytic skills and a demonstrated ability to build financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem solving
  • Experience performing financial and ad hoc analyses using advanced Excel functionality and providing recommendations based on results to senior management for strategic decision-making
  • Experience with new accounting system implementations
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously and drive projects to completion
  • Ability to synthesize complex business drivers  and connect financials to business story and translate to actionable items
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Must be comfortable working in cross functional teams and all levels of management
